My name is Susan and I am 45 years old. I have been struggling with bi-polar II disorder ever since I can remember but was diagnosed just about five years ago. The emotional pain of this disorder has been devastating. The talents and gifts I have not been able to use to their full potential because of this disorder have been very painful to deal with. I have always felt very alone in this because I know of no others personally that struggle with this also. I am glad to have found this group. After reading several posts, I do not feel so alone. It helps to know that there are others who go through what I do. I hope to make some friends here as there is no one really to talk to about the day to day dealings and effects of this hellish disorder. I am hoping to give as well as receive from this group.
