Hi you guys and welcome to March.  They always say that March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb.  Dunno about where you are, but it has come in like a lamb here.  Still cold, but not miserable like its been most of the winter.  I can't wait for the first crocuses to pop out, then it will be spring for sure.


Well, 52 people joined our ranks in February.....not bad for a short month.  Welcome to all of the new people.....we are glad to have you among us.  We have now reached the 1.5 million mark for visitors to our site.  That means people have been to our site a million and a half times!  That is pretty amazing, donchya think?

 

Folks came thru in a big way for us with donations the first couple months of 2010.   It really helped out with Edwina not having steady work right now.  We appreciate it more than you know.  If you have not yet donated and would like to, or would like to again....just click on the donate button on the chat page.  Its easy to set up a Paypal account if you don't have one already.  I have used it on ebay for years and never had a problem.  Like I said before, if you use and appreciate our site regularly, just a dollar or two donation is a great way to show your appreciation.  Thanks!

 

One serious topic i wanted to bring up.  At times lately, chat has reminded me of the reality show Survivor.  If you are not familiar with that show, it involves people manipulating each other in order to form alliances against others.  There is some of that going on here.  Mind you, it's only a very small number of people doing it, but it is cause for concern.  Let's try to remember that we are all in this together, and it is not nice to choose sides against someone.  If there is a person who is really making life difficult for everyone, they will be dealt with on an individual basis.  No need for vigilantes here.

And while on the subject of chat, I really wish that people would abstain from talking about politics and religion.  They are two volatile topics that bring out the passion in people and inevitably a nasty heated argument ensues.  I ask that if you wish to discuss such things, take it to pm and do it one on one.  Don't get the whole room in turmoil.  Thanks so much.
